Trip Review: Under the strict (but kind) supervision of Dr. Matrishva Vyas
Just returned from yet another safari with Dr. Matrishva Vyas — my 6th trip with him, which either proves his excellence… or my complete inability to stay away from wildlife, dust, and 4 a.m. wake-up calls.
Samburu & Masai Mara: spectacular as always — lions posed, leopards performed, and elephants cooperated like they had read the itinerary.
Dr. Vyas’ style:
Planning: So meticulous, even the clouds seemed pre-scheduled.
Teaching: Patient, precise, and delivered with the calm authority of someone who knows exactly why your photo isn’t sharp.
Food & logistics: So good you momentarily forget you’re in the middle of the wilderness.
Safari guides: Absolute legends — part tracker, part naturalist, part magician.
By day 2, my camera improved.
By day 4, my photography improved.
By day 6, I started believing the wildlife was actually listening to him.
Six trips done… and already counting days for the next.
At this point, Dr. Vyas isn’t just a mentor — he’s a migration pattern.
